Aba Sebseb, who is said to have attended a spiritual school in the Bulga area, headed to Ankober and started teaching poetry, books and palace lessons. When they first entered the world of work, they were assigned as gatekeepers in the palace of Menelik II. In his childhood, he was promoted from Agafari to Ligaba during the reign of Yasu. They managed Wolaita for five years in 1915. A case has been filed against the Governor Dejazmach Yeine Bherre Agathu. To investigate the charges, an officer called Grazmach Korcho was sent from Addis Ababa to Wolayita. After investigating the matter, they decided that it would be better if the debate was held in Addis Ababa, so they informed the higher body.

The case was brought to Addis Ababa's Crown Prince Teferi Mekonon's trial and after it was investigated on May 9/1915. They were sentenced to death in Dejazmach Yeine Ourdmazathu and were first imprisoned for nine months in the house of Fitaurari Habte Giorgis. They were then transferred to Ankober city and imprisoned for nine months. They were released from prison in Ankobar, and in January, their prison terms were commuted to mercy, and it was decided that they would stay at their estates without entering Addis Ababa.

                    Dejazmach Ligabaw With Fitaurari Habte

Another incident occurred where Aba Sebseb was again arrested. It is said that they tried to conspire against Algawarashi by sending a secret letter to the Minister of War, Fitaurari Habte Giorgis Dinegde, while they were in their estate. It is said that the Minister of War himself was the one who presented your letter to the Crown Prince.

Dejazmach Ligabaw appeared before the court of Prince Algawarash. They were asked to confess whether the letter written to Aba Mela Habte Giorgis was his or not. And they boldly spoke with a strong word that it was their own word. One by one, the judges stood up and criticized them, saying, "He will punish them.". They said that Aba Sebseb, who is said to have spoken against the heir, was whipped with a whip. They were sentenced to prison and sent to Harar that day.

                     Dejazmach Ligabaw Beyene In Harar

When Ligabaw Beyene was imprisoned in Harar in 1921, when he was crowned as King Teferi, he was released on amnesty on the occasion of his coronation. As soon as he was released from prison, King Teferi appointed him as the governor of Gondar province. But Aba Sebseb refused to accept the appointment saying "I will not serve the system that imprisoned and flogged me but my country". They said that they would not accept the appointment and said another harsh word against the king and were sent to Konta in exile. A man from my country who heard that he had been arrested for refusing to accept the appointment of Aba Sebseb said to him.

The water was the appointment of the governor of Gondar and the water was cold in Konta. A few years after this, it was heard that Fascist Italy had invaded the country again, with Aba Sebseb in prison. I will not serve my country, but the system that imprisoned and whipped me." Dej Azmach, who did not serve, wrote a letter to Emperor Haile Selassie when he heard that the fascists had invaded the country.

The wound of the side is dressed with forgiveness, For the sake of your honor, I have found a brother for you. Imprisonment, whipping, pain and death are another matter. All this can be contemplated, extracted and downloaded only when the mother country lives.

And they announced their position to free their country from the invaders saying that 'I am determined to fight the common enemy that has come to us' and pleaded with the emperor to accept their request and march them into battle. Their request was accepted and they left the Konta prison and marched to the front.
